Dr. Campbell

Dave Campbell received his BA in Environmental Sciences from Tahoe College, CA (1971) and MS in Management from Troy State University, AL (1982). After retiring from the US Air Force in 1982, he received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas (1987) Before coming to VSU, he taught at Old Dominion University and University of Alabama, Huntsville. He published a number of articles in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Healthcare Marketing and other leading journals. COBA students twice made him a finalist for Best Teacher. He was twice named a Fulbright Scholar, serving in P.R. China and, after retirement from VSU, Portugal. Dr. Campbell has remained active since retirement from VSU in 1999. Among other activities, he taught for a year in Korea and Japan; completed his second Fulbright assignment; and served a semester with Semester At Sea, visiting and teaching in ten countries in 103 days. He and his wife, Kathleen, have lived in Carson City, NV since 2000.
