Associate Professor of Management Information Systems
Graduated from The Citadel with a bachelor's degree in 1961. Was a pilot in the USAF until 1970. Worked in sales for Mike Bajalia Realty, Skyline Corporation, Roger Budd Chevrolet, and NCR Corporation until 1981. Was the Director of the VSU Small Business Development Center until 1985. Began a Ph.D. program at the UGA in 1985, and completed the program in 1990. Became a full-time professor in the VSU Management Department in 1990. Major area of research is the information needs of turnaround managers. Have taught primarily the MIS course and the TQM course since 1990. Have been on numerous committees within the Langdale College of Business. Also, have been an advisor to the SIFE organization, and filmed and prepared the video for the regional and national presentations for three years.
