Dr. Kenneth L. Stanley
Professor of Finance
Dr. Stanley's primary teaching and research interests are in the area of corporate finance and investments. Dr. Stanley has published over 30 articles in scholarly and practitioner journals including the Journal of Finance, The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Financial Research, The Journal of Futures Markets and the Strategic Management Journal. He is an active consultant on valuing private corporations. Dr. Stanley received a Ph.D. from Purdue University, an MBA from Emory University, and a B.A. from Rhodes College.
Dr. Stanley served as Dean of the Langdale College of Business Administration at Valdosta State University between 1984 and 2005. Prior to coming to VSU, he was on the faculty of the School of Business at Emory University.
