Dr. Michael L. Holland
Professor of Accounting 
Dr. Holland is an accounting professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance. He holds three degrees including a BS in Mathematics from Auburn University, Master of Accounting from the University of Georgia, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Additionally, he has been a faculty member at Valdosta State University since 1987. Prior to joining the VSU faculty, he taught at LSU and Georgia State University. Dr. Holland teaches in the Federal Income Tax and Cost/ Managerial areas. His primary research interest is in the area of Federal Income Taxation where he has generated several dozen articles and professional presentations.
