Dr. A. Bruce Caster
Professor of Accounting
Dr. Caster is a professor of Accounting and Finance. He received his BA degree (Psychology) from Swarthmore College, and his MAcc (Accounting) and PhD (Business Administration/Accounting) degrees from The University of Georgia. His primary teaching area is financial reporting, including Accounting Principles, Intermediate Accounting, External Reporting, and Advanced Accounting. Dr. Caster has been a licensed CPA in the State of Georgia since 1991. He holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Accounting Association. Dr. Caster has been at VSU since 1985.
