Dr. Lizabeth austen-jaggard
Assistant Professor of Accounting
Lizabeth Austen-Jaggard earned her B.S. in mathematics education at the University of Wisconsin, her M.S. in accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her PhD from the University of Florida. She has earned certifications in both public (CPA) and managerial (CMA) accounting. Dr. Austen-Jaggard has taught numerous courses in accounting but her primary areas of teaching are management and cost accounting in addition to accounting information systems. Her research interests are in the use of information in decision making and the effects of information on behavior. She has published articles in journals such as Issues in Accounting Education, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Commercial Lending Review, and Journal of Business and Accounting.
