BlazeNet is VSU's re-branded SunGuard/SCT Luminis portal that integrates the major web-based services that we provide with centralized authentication and interfaces. Some of these services are only currently available outside the portal per se but still make use of the centralized authentication that it provides. The major services organized into the portal include:

• Blazenet Portal - Access to groups, calendars, and a web-based e-mail interface for VSU Students, Faculty and Staff. BlazeNet is the actual portal, per se.
• Banner Web - Information and login for the Student Information System. Banner provides registration, tuition and fee payment, grades, unoffical transcripts, and other student information.
• WebCT Vista - Information and login for VSU's web-based course system. WebCT Vista makes use of the same authentication system as BlazeNet.
• IT Helpdesk - The IT Helpdesk is the first line of technical support to students, faculty, and staff at Valdosta State University.

Additional services will be coming in 2007, including web-based document storage and data warehouse access.
