About the VSU Webserver
This server is known as WWW. It's primary purpose is to serve UNIX services for support of web pages and applications. It hosts the VSU home page and many of the sites for various VSU departments and organizations. Anyone with a VSU Email Account can create and maintain a personal web site through this web server.
Departments and users have access to standard publishing services (except FrontPage Server Extensions). Scripting through Perl and PHP to MySQL are also available. Please contact us about your application needs before attempting create anything.
