The International Dinner was begun 34 year ago as a way for VSU's International Students to share part of their culture with the Valdosta community. It is a celebration of cultural diversity that can be found in Valdosta. Currently there are over 250 international students from over 60 different countries attending VSU.

The dinner will feature dishes from over 30 countries including India, Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Albania, Turkmenistan, Mexico, Colombia, the Bahamas, Cameroon, etc.

During the dinner, students will entertain guests with traditional and modern songs, performances, dances, music and skits. Among the performances, there will be International Fashion Show, African, Brazilian and Asian Dances, Belizean music, singing, guitar playing and other performances.

Tickets to the International Dinner are limited and must be purchased in advance at the Center for International Programs located at 204 Georgia Avenue. No tickets will be sold at the door. Prices are $20 for adults, $10 for VSU students (with valid student ID), free for children under 5.

The Valdosta State University Society for International Students will present the 35th Annual International Dinner on Saturday, April 16th, at the Student Union Ballroom, Valdosta State University. Doors Open at 7 pm.
