STATUS (5/27/2011): SSL Cerificate Errors (Closed)

Description

Around 7:00 am, Friday, May 27th an error occurred with our SSL certificates causing issues for users accessing applications on the university's website. This issue affected VSU webpages starting with http://apex.valdosta.edu. We have received the following information from our Enterprise Application Services group:

We have had a situation arise with our SSL Certificate around 7:00 am this morning. We have traced the issue down and are working on resolving it. If you attempt to access apex.valdosta.edu, Degreeworks, or several other servers on campus, you may receive an error about the SSL Certificate being Revoked. If this happens, please try a different browser. We are working with our certificate provider to resolve the issues and will provide updates as they become avalible.

Resolution

Friday 5/27/2011 (5:00 PM) - The SSL certificate was restored by our system administrators.
