news: 2008 Chancellor's Customer Service Award Winner

In Fall of 2008, the Valdosta State University Information Technology Helpdesk was nominated to compete with call centers, service desks, and help desks throughout the University System of Georgia for the Chancellor's Customer Service Award.

We are excited to announce that our Helpdesk was selected by the Chancellor as a GOLD Level Award winner based on our ability to implement a continuous-improvement environment in order to perform well beyond expectations in the realms of client service quality and student retention.
