Extracting Zip Files

Step 1

Double-click on the zip file.

Step 2

A new window with the same name as the zip file will appear. Click on the File menu. Then, click Extract All Files button.

On the next screen, click the Browse button.

The Select a destination window will appear. Click on Desktop. Then, click the Make New Folder button.

Step 5

Type in a name for the new folder. Then, click the OK button.

Step 6

The Select a destination window will close and you will be returned to the Extact Compressed (Zipped) Files window. Click the Extract button.

After the extraction is complete, a window should appear containing the files you extracted.
