Enabling or Disabling the Windows Firewall

Step 1

Click on the Start button. Then, click Control Panel.

Click Start and then Control Panel

Step 2

From the Control Panel, double-click Windows Firewall.

Double Click Windows Firewall

Step 3

Click the radio button in front of either On (recommended) or Off (not recommended) to enable or disable the firewall. Then, click the OK button.

Click Either On or Off then Click OK
