Prevent Java from Updating Automatically
Step 1
Select Control Panel from the Start Menu.
Step 2
Click on the Java icon in the Control Panel
Step 3
Click the Update tab. Then, uncheck the checkbox in front of Check for Updates Automatically.
Step 4
A warning prompt will appear. Click the Never Check button.
Step 5
Finally, click the OK button.
