Sorting Data

Step 1:

Right-click on a table and click Design View in the pop-up menu that appears.

Open Design View

 

Step 2:

Right-click on the field you wish to base your sort on. Then, click the order you wish to use to sort your data in the pop-up menu that appears.

Select the Field and Order for the Sort

 

Step 3:

Once you have added all the fields you wish, click the X button. Make sure you are clicking the lower button. Otherwise, you will exit Access altogether.

Close the Table, but not Access

 

Step 4:

When you are prompted to save the changes, click the Yes button.

Save Your Changes

 

Congratulations!

You have successfully sorted your data!
