Adding Graphics

Note: When you are inserting graphics into a PowerPoint presentation, use the following method rather than simply copying and pasting the image into PowerPoint. Otherwise, the images may not show up properly.

Step 1:

Click the Insert Tab, the second tab from the top left.

Click the Office Button

Step 2:

Select the type of graphic you would like to add to your presentation (ex. Picture, Clip Art, etc.)

Select the type of graphic.

Step 3 (Optional): Pictures

If you wish to add a picture you have created or downloaded, select Picture button. Then, select the file to insert.

Step 4 (Optional): SmartArt

Otherwise, many features (such as organization charts, relationship charts, and process charts) are located under the SmartArt Button.

You have successfully added a graphic to your presentation.
