Installing the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack through Internet Explorer

Step 1:

Go to the Compatibility Pack download site.

 

Step 2:

Click the Download button.

Note: If you see the Valdiate button in place of the Download button, click it. The Download button should appear.

Download the File

 

Step 3:

If you receive a security warning, click the Save button. If you do not see this box after 30 seconds, click the link titled Start Downloading.

Click Save

 

Step 4:

Make sure you have selected Desktop in the Save in: drop-down menu. Then, click the Save button.

Step 5:

If the Download Complete dialog box appears, click the Close button.

Step 6:

Double-click the File Format Converter icon on the desktop.

Step 7:

If you receive a security warning, click the Run button.

Click Run

 

Step 8:

Make sure you place a check in the checkbox in front of Click here to accept the Microsoft Software License Terms. Then, click the Continue button.

Agree to the Conditions

 

Step 9:

Allow the installation to proceed. When the installation is complete, click the OK button.

Click OK

You have successfully installed the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack!
