Removing Software

Step 1:

Click on the Finder icon in the Dock.

Step 2:

Click the Applications in the left menu.

Step 3:

Once the Applications list is generated, find the application you would like to remove from your computer.

Step 4:

Hold down the left button on your mouse and drag the application's icon to the Trash icon. Remember to continue holding the left buton as you drag the icon.

Step 5:

Drag the icon until it is over the Trash. The Trash icon will darken when you place the application's icon over it.

Step 6:

Release the left-click button on your mouse. The application's icon should now be in the Trash. The Trash will appear to have crumpled paper in it.

Step 7:

Right-click on the Trash. A menu should appear giving you two options.

Step 8:

Click on the Empty Trash option in the menu provided.

Congratulations!

You have successfully uninstalled software from your computer!
