Saving Files onto a Jump Drive

Step 1

Insert the Jump Drive.

Step 2

Click the Start Menu icon.

Click on the My Computer icon.

Step 4

Locate your Jump Drive's name under the Devices with Removable Storage category.

Then, double-click the icon to open it.

Locate the File(s) you want to save on the Jump Drive.

Then, right-click the file and left-click the Copy link .

Right-click inside your Jump Drive folder and click Paste.

Congratulations! You have successfully put a saved file to your USB jump drive.
