Inserting the Jump Drive
Step 1Locate the rectangular USB port on your computer. One half of it should be filled with a plastic peg. The other half should be empty. Next to the port, you should see the USB jump drive symbol shown below. Step 2On the end of your jump drive, you should see a matching plastic peg in one half. Likewise, the other half should be empty. Step 3Insert your jump drive so that the plastic peg on the USB port aligns with the empty part of the jump drive and vice versa. Insertion should require no force. Congratulations! You have successfully inserted your USB jump drive.
