How to Enable Cookies on Your Browser
1. Check your browser version
You will need to check your browser version. You may check your browser version by following these steps:
- For Internet Explorer, go to the Help menu and click on About Internet Explorer.
- For Netscape, go to the Help menu and click on About Communicator.
2. Follow the appropriate configuration instructions for your browser:
Netscape 4.x
- Click on Edit in the menu bar
- Under Edit, select Preferences
- Click on the word Advanced (not the "+" or "-")
- In the Cookies section of the dialog box, select Accept all cookies
Netscape 6.x
- Click on Edit in the menu bar
- Under Edit, select Preferences
- Double-click on Privacy & Security
- Click on Cookies
- In the Cookies section of the dialog box, select Accept all cookies
Internet Explorer 5.x
- Click on Tools in the menu bar
- Under Tools, select Internet Options
- In Internet Options, click on the Security tab
- Select the Internet icon web content zone
- Click on Custom Level at the bottom of the dialog box
- Scroll down to Cookies and make sure that both the Allow cookies and the Allow per-session cookie buttons are set to Enable
Internet Explorer 6.x
- Click on Tools in the menu bar
- Under Tools, select Internet Options
- In Internet Options, click on the Privacy tab
- Under Settings, move the slider to Medium for the Internet zones
- Click on the Advanced button to ensure that Override automatic cookie handling is not checked. If you wish to override the default setting, make sure that you select Always allow session cookies
- Click OK.
