Downgrading Internet Explorer 8 or Above to Internet Explorer 7 (VISTA)

Step 1:

Click the Start button on the left hand side of the taskbar. Then, click Control Panel.

Select Control Panel

 

Step 2:

Click the Programs icon in the Control Panel Home view

Note: If you do not see this, you may need to change the view from Classic View to Control Panel Home View. You can change it by clicking the Control Panel Home link on the left side of the window.

Step 3:

Locate and click the View Installed Updates entry.

Select View Installed Updates

 

Step 4:

Locate and click Windows Internet Explorer 8; then select Uninstall from the Top Menu.

Select Windows Internet Explorer 8 and then Select Uninstall

 

Step 5:

If a prompt appears displaying Windows needs your permission to continue, click the Continue button.

Select Continue

 

Step 6:

The removal wizard will begin the uninstallation and prompt you to restart your computer once finished. Now you can choose to either restart your computer now or later. To complete the downgrade, restart your computer at your earliest convenience!

You have successfully downgraded to Internet Explorer 7!
