Migrating to smtp.valdosta.edu

As of 1/27/2009, our mail server administrator disabled outgoing e-mail received by mail.valdosta.edu. To ensure that you are able to continue to send e-mails normally, please change your outgoing mail server to smtp.valdosta.edu using the instructions listed below.

Step 1:

Open Microsoft Outlook Express.

 

Step 2:

Click on the Tools menu. Then, click Accounts.

Click Accounts in the Tools Menu

 

Step 3:

Click the name of the e-mail account you wish to modify. Then, click the Properties button.

Select the Account

 

Step 4:

Click the Servers tab. Then, change the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) field to smtp.valdosta.edu. Finally, click the OK button.

Use smtp.valdosta.edu

Step 5:

Click the Close button.
