Leaving a Copy of E-mails in Blazenet

Microsoft Outlook Express's default behavior is to download e-mails from Blazenet and then delete them from Blazenet. Thus, it is important to perform the following configuration steps prior to checking your e-mail with Outlook Express if you will need to check your e-mail through Blazenet or through Outlook Express at a different location.

Step 1:

Open Microsoft Outlook Express.

Step 2:

Click on the Tools menu. Then, click Accounts.

Click Accounts in the Tools Menu

Step 3:

Click the name of the e-mail account you wish to modify. Then, click the Properties button.

Select the Account

Step 4:

Click on the Advanced tab. Place a check in the boxes in front of Leave a copy of messages on the server and Remove from server after. Then, change the number of days to 10. Finally, click the OK button.

Note: The number of days you set will determine the number of days e-mails remain in Blazenet after you are checked them in Outlook Express. You can adjust this number if you need to. If you wish for them to remain indefinitely, do not check the box in front of Remove from server after. However, we do not recommend doing so, as you are more bound to surpass the 250 megabyte account limit this way.

Modify the Settings

Step 5:

Click the Close button.
