Setting up your VSU E-mail on an iPhone |

Step 1:Click Mail.
Step 2:Click Other. Step 3:Enter your account information:
After you have entered this information, click Save. Step 4:On the next page, click IMAP. Scroll down to the Incoming Mail Server settings. Enter the following information:
Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server settings. Enter the following information:
Off-campus Users: Due to security concerns, mail from non-VSU domains will not be accepted. You must consult with your ISP's documentation and/or tech support in using the SMTP server from your ISP. If email is already configured for your ISP email account, then use that SMTP server for your VSU email account. Here is a page with some local SMTP servers as examples. Note: While you are connected to the EDGE network, you cannot use smtp.valdosta.edu or this process will fail. Likewise, if you are connected to Hallnet and using AT&T's outgoing mail server, this process will fail.
Step 5:If you receive an error message that you cannot connect to SSL, click the Yes button. If you receive this message a second time, click the Yes button.
Step 6:Press the Home key on your iPhone. Then, click Mail to check your e-mail.
Congratulations!You have successfully configured your iPhone to check your VSU e-mail account.
