SEnding an E-mail

Step 1

You must be successfully logged into Blazenet to complete these steps. If you have not already done so, please follow the steps in our Logging Into Blazenet guide.

Note: If you do not know what your BlazeNet username is, please read the Finding Your BlazeNet Username and Password guide.

Step 2

Click the E-mail button on the top right corner.

Note: The next window will appear in a pop-up. Make sure that you have pop-up blockers turned off. If you security settings are set at a high level, a yellow security bar at the top of the window. A menu will appear. Click to allow the pop-up.

Click E-mail

 

Step 3

Click the Compose button on the top left.

Note: Once again, the next window will appear in a pop-up. Make sure that you have pop-up blockers turned off. If you security settings are set at a high level, a yellow security bar at the top of the window. A menu will appear. Click to allow the pop-up.

Click Compose

 

Step 4

In the To: field, specify the e-mail address for the person you are sending the message to and expecting a reply from.
In the Cc: field, specify the e-mail address for a person you are sending to and not expecting a reply from.
In the Bcc: field, specify the e-mail address for a person you are sending the e-mail to whose address you do not wish to be listed on the e-mail.
In the Subject: field, type a one line summary of the e-mail contents.
In the Enter Message: field, type the message you wish to send.

If you wish to attach a file, click the Attach button on the bottom left. Then, follow the steps in our Attaching Files to E-mails guide.

Otherwise, click the Send button on the bottom right.

Type and Send the Message
