BlazeNet Groups - Joining a Group

Click on the groups icon.

In the Groups window, click on the Groups Index tab.

Step 4

To search for a group, type keywords related to the type of group in the Group Search field at the bottom of the Group Index page, then click the Search button.

To subscribe to the desired group, click on the group name in the list of Group Search Results.

In the Group Guest View screen, click on the Join Group button.

Step 7

In the Join a Group screen, you must read the policy and agree to it. Once you have indicated your agreement (by checking the two checkboxes underneath the policy section), click the Join button.

Step 8

If the group requires membership approval, you must supply a comment indicating why you wish to join the group.

Step 9

If the group does not require membership approval, you will see the Join a Group Confirmation screen.

Step 10

If the group required membership approval, you will see a notice indicating that the group leader has been notified of your membership request. Approval or denial will be sent as an e-mail message to your VSU e-mail address once the membership request has been handled by the group leader.
