Forgot your Password?

If you have forgotten your password for any of the following systems, you can set up a new password through the Banner (Registration) system:

  • Blazenet - The VSU e-mail system
  • BlazeVIEW - The VSU online course system
  • Hallnet - The VSU campus wireless network

If the system you are attempting to access is not displayed in the list above, please submit our Helpdesk Password Reset Form.

If you do not know your User ID or PIN for the Banner system, please contact the:

Step 1:

Access the Valdosta State University Homepage.

Then, click the Registration link.

Click Registration

 

Step 2:

Click the Login button.

Click on the Login Button

 

Step 3:

Enter your User ID and PIN into the appropriate fields.

Then, click the Login button.

Enter Your Information and Click Login

 

Step 4:

Click the Personal Information link.

Click on Personal Information

 

Step 5:

Click the Reset Your VSU E-mail Password link.

Click Reset Your VSU E-mail Password

 

Step 6:

Enter a new password into both the New VSU E-mail Password and Confirm New VSU E-mail Password fields.

Then, click the Submit New VSU E-mail Password button.

Note: Your new password must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least eight (8) characters in length, but no longer than twenty (20) characters
  • Must contain at least one (1) letter and one (1) number

Submit a New Password

 

Step 7:

You should receive a message stating that You have successfully reset your VSU E-mail password.

Note: Remember that the other systems listed at the top of this guide will also have their password changed to the new password you have just created.

Congratulations! You have successfully changed your Blazenet password.
