Attaching Files to E-mails

Step 1

You must be successfully logged into Blazenet and composed and e-mail to complete these steps. If you have not already done so, please follow the steps in our Logging Into Blazenet guide. Then, follow the steps in our Sending an E-mail guide.

Note: The attachment window will appear in a pop-up. Make sure that you have pop-up blockers turned off. If you security settings are set at a high level, a yellow security bar at the top of the window. A menu will appear. Click to allow the pop-up.

Step 2

Click the Browse button on the left side.

Step 3

Another menu will appear. Locate the file you wish to attach and click it once. Then, click the Open button.

Step 4

The location and name of the file will be filled into the blank next to the Browse button. Click the Attach button.

Step 5

The name of the file should appear in the top right window. Repeat steps 1 through 4 until you have attached all the files you wish to attach.

If you accidentally attached a file, click the name of the file. Then, click the Remove button.

After you have attached all the files you wish to send, click the OK button.

Note: Remember, there is a limitation on Blazenet attachments. You may only attach a total of 5 files with a total of 10 megabytes or data.

Repeat Steps as Necessary

 

 

Step 6

You will be returned to the e-mail itself. At the bottom left, you should see the names of the attached files. When you have finished composing the e-mail, click the Send button.

Click Send
