Step 3:
The list is in alphabetical order. Scroll-down to the entries beginning with the letter J. Compare what you see to the images below to determine whether or not you have the correct version of Java installed.
CORRECT JAVA VERSION
You have the correct version of Java installed if the only version displayed here is the same version that is on Recommended Downloads Page.
INCORRECT / MULTIPLE JAVA VERSIONS
Any other version of Java is incorrect, even if you also have the correct version listed.
NO JAVA VERSION
The case may also occur that you do not have Java installed on your computer.
Congratulations! You have successfully verified your Java version and removed incorrect Java versions. Please proceed by installing the correct version of Java.
