Step 1:
Note: If you are running Windows Vista, you must be logged in as the computer administrator to perform these steps.
Go to the AVG download site. Click on Download AVG Free 8.0 (AVG server).
Step 2:
If you receive a security warning, click the Run button.
Step 3:
The installation process will begin. When prompted, click the Next button.
Step 4:
Click the Accept button.
Step 5:
After you have read the license agreement, click the Accept button.
Step 6:
Click the radio button in front of Standard Installation. Then, click the Next button.
Step 7:
Click the Next button.
Step 8:
If you wish to install the AVG Security Toolbar, click the checkbox in front of Yes, I would like to install the AVG Security Toolbar. Then, click the Next button.
Step 9:
Click the Finish button.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0.
