Windows defender download (Firefox)
Step 1:
Go to the Microsoft Windows Defender Homepage. During the process of going through this guide, do not close the Firefox browser.
Click on the Download It Here button.
Step 2:
You must now validate your copy of Windows. Click on the Continue button.
Step 3:
You have to download a plug-in to validate your copy of Windows. Click on Download plug-in.
Step 4:
A File Download pop-up will appear in the middle of your screen. Click on the OK button.
Select Desktop in the Save in: drop-down menu. Then, click on Save.
Step 5:
Now find the file on your desktop and double-click it.
Step 6:
This will start the Windows Genuine Advantage plug-in installer. Click on Next.
Step 7:
The Windows Genuine Advantage plug-in will install. Click Finish.
Step 8:
Now go back to Firefox. Click Continue near the bottom of the page.
Step 9:
Mozilla Firefox will bring you to a download page. Click Download.
Step 10:
A download pop-up will appear. Click OK.
Step 11:
Save the file to your Desktop for convience purposes. Click Save.
Congratulations!
You have successfully downloaded Windows Defender onto your computer.
