Cleaning the System with Windows Defender
Step 1:
Start Windows Defender by clicking Start, then click All Programs, and then clck Windows Defender.
Step 2:
Click the down arrow next to the scan icon, then click Full Scan.
Windows Defender will begin scanning. This process may take several minutes. Please be patient.
Step 3:
After Windows Defender has stopped scanning, it will tell you if it has picked up any spyware. If it has, there will be a Remove All button. Click it.
Step 4:
Windows Defender should now say No unwanted or harmful software detected.
Congratulations!
You have successfully cleaned your computer with Windows Defender.
