Updating Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional
Step 1:
Launch Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional.
Step 2:
Click the Help menu.
Then, click Check for Updates...
Step 3:
Adobe Updater will open and begin checking for updates. Please be patient as this may take several minutes.
Step 4:
If there are available updates, click the Download and Install Updates button.
Step 5:
Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional will begin to download the available updates. Please be patient as this may take several minutes.
Step 6:
In order to begin the install process, you must shut-down Adobe Acrobat.
Click the Continue button to close all Adobe Acrobat programs.
Step 7:
Adobe will begin installing your updates. Please be patient as this may take several minutes.
Step 8:
Save all open documents and choose Restart Now.
Congratulations! You have successfully updated Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional.
