This FAQ contains answers to Internet Connection questions regarding University Internet Systems.

 

  • How can I access the Internet at Valdosta State University?

Computer labs can be found throughout campus, including labs in Odum Library. These computers provide access to the Internet. Also, students living in residence halls have access to the HallNet service, which provides high-speed access to the Internet. Laptop users can access the Internet wirelessly in campus hot spots.

  • What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

You will need to contact the VSU IT Helpdesk to get your password reset. There are three ways to contact the IT Helpdesk:

  1. Visit the IT Helpdesk in Odum Library.
  2. Submit the Password reset form.
  3. E-mail the IT Helpdesk with your full name according to VSU, your date of birth, your VSU Student ID #, and your VSU login name.

Note: Banner Pin Numbers Must Be Reset by the Registrar.
