CRITICAL: MOZILLA PRODUCT SECURITY EXPLOIT
The security vulnerability similiar to the one discovered in Internet Explorer (see below) has also been identified in Mozilla software including Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey. Likewise, Mozilla has released updated versions of their products that will correct these vulnerabilities. Please ensure that if you are running the following Mozilla software that you are using the exact version listed in the table below. If you are running a lower version number, please update your software. If you are running a higher version number, please uninstall it and install the correct version.

CRITICAL: INTERNET EXPLORER SECURITY EXPLOIT
A new security vulnerability in Internet Explorer has been discovered that affects all version of Internet Explorer since Internet Explorer 5 (including beta versions of Internet Explorer 8). This vulnerability is exploited by a number of websites in order to steal saved usernames and passwords or to steal this information as it is entered. Microsoft has released a patch to address and correct this vulnerability. You can visit the Microsoft Security Bulletin website to download the update patch. Please bear in mind that you will need to select the correct version for your operating system and Internet Explorer. This patch has already been deployed to VSU-owned computer.
2008 Chancellor's Customer Service Award Winner
In Fall of 2008, the Valdosta State University Information Technology Helpdesk was nominated to compete with call centers, service desks, and help desks throughout the University System of Georgia for the Chancellor's Customer Service Award.
