Master of Education in Adult and Career Education
Workforce Education Option
The Masters of Education in Adult and Career Education has the following three Areas of Emphasis: Workforce Education & Development (WED); Career & Technical Education (CTE); and Business Education & Information Technology (BEIT). Each area of emphasis is designed to provide advanced knowledge, skills and dispositions in the field of Adult and Career Education and inherent within the area.
Workforce Education and Development is an area designed for professionals who are working or wish to work as educational leaders in Adult Education settings. Such settings include but are not limited to private sector business & industry human resource education, training and development, government agency training programs, post-secondary technical and community colleges, and adult community education programs.
