The faculty of the GHP Math Department introduce some of Georgia’s best math students to new ideas and disciplines in Math. The goal of the program is to expand the knowledge and the problem solving abilities of these students.

The nine highly trained and experienced members of the faculty accomplish this through classroom-style learning as well as through personal and group research projects. They also place interesting twists in the learning process by holding a large math tournament in which teams face off against each other in games that tested math knowledge and teamwork. All of the students involved in the program undoubtedly leave enriched and are guaranteed to spread the knowledge they learn to the members of their high school classes.
