Allow Blocked Content |
Windows XP Service Pack 2 provides better protection against viruses, hackers, and worms by blocking suspicious programs and web sites. Unfortunately, safe and legitimate processes can be blocked in the process. The Governor's Honors Program web site uses JavaScript slide shows and Flash animations, both of which might be blocked by Service Pack 2. If you wish to enable this content, follow the steps outlined below. |
If you receive the security message above when browsing pages on the The Governor's Honors Program web site, Service Pack 2 is blocking interactive content on the page. 1. Left-click on the yellow security message. |
2. Left-click on "Allow Blocked Content..." |
3. Left-click on the "Yes" button. This will allow all pages on the Award Pools web site to use active content. Following these instructions will allow active content only for the Award Pools web site. You will continue to receive security warnings for other websites. For security reasons, it is strongly recommended to allow active content only for trusted web sites. |

| 2. Click the Install Now button to automatically download and install Adobe Flash Player into Microsoft Internet Explorer. | |||
