Audition Process

1) Congratulations! Your Theatre teacher at school nominates you for GHP

2) The auditions for the County and State levels are very similar with three parts (monologues, interview, and improv): *Your school counselor will give you the exact details*

Prepare two monologues (tip- choose two contrasting monologues) for the actual performance audition. This is your chance to show them what you got.

The interview consists of talking to one or two adults, usually high school drama teachers. Be amicable and passionate about what you say.

Improv will be done with as few as 1 other person, or as many as 10 other people. Be on your toes and open to all situations.

3) Finalists are anounced the first week of April. Continue to check the GHP website for updates, news, and directions to various audition locations.
