Robotic Sport Competition
In this weekly challenge, students from both the Majors and Minors class were required to design and construct VEX Robots for a robotic tournament. The Majors went up against the minors in a robotic mix of basketball and soccer that required innovative thinking, and heavy problem solving capabilities.
Using VEX Robotics was something that most of the students had not gotten a chance to use in the past, and it introduced new programming skillsets, as well as logical skills when the challenge was over. This project really allowed the students in both classes to work together in a strategic manner while aiming high for the ultimate goal, to be the winner of the robotic sport.
