Students were asked to attack, defend, or modify the following statement: there are more similarities than differences between The Prince by Machiavelli and Obedience by Milgram. We first read and discussed The Prince, then viewed and discussed Milgram's experiment on film. Then the two were compared and contrasted in a two to three page expository essay.
