At 8:15, the woodwind majors go to their theory classes (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) or to their elective classes (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays)which include "Orchestral Masterworks", "20th Century Masterworks", "How to Listen to Music", "How to Conduct", and "WOODWIND LITERATURE". At 9:15 they go to their majors (woodwinds) and do various of things such as practicing in chamber groups, doing sectionals, and receiving helpful tips on auditioning, breathing, practicing, etc. Then, they go to orchestra and rehearse for their many concerts with their orchestra conductor Mr.Czarcowski.
First, the woodwind minors usually sight-read different pieces as a group. Then, they usually practice in chamber groups or practice individual solos. They also receive individual lessons from Mr. Harwood. Once a week, they learn music theory, and at times, they study Woodwind Literature where they learn about literatures of different instruments.
