Frau Marcie has been teaching German at GHP for 4 years now. When not spending time with brilliant German-speaking high schoolers, she is a teaching assistant in the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages at the University of Georgia. But of course, teaching at GHP is her favorite job. She didn't go herself, but she says that if she were a GHP-er today, she would want to be an ag sci major.
Besides being an amazing instructor, Frau Marcie's other accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts degree from Agnes Scott College, a Master of Education degree from UGA, and being a UGA PhD Candidate.
When not speaking German, Frau Marcie likes to read and spend time with her cats. Some of her other pastimes include traveling, baking, and woodworking. Her biggest pet peeve is when students are habitually late to class.
