What will you teach this year at GHP? The class uses projects to investigate process.

What strategies are used to accomplish your instructional goals? I see my role in the classroom as being a sherpa. Each student is investigating what informs their process of design. I'm there to help them ask the right questions.

What will be your students' culminating activity? The majors will build a full size model of a structure they designed.

How much do you like teaching GHP? I love seeing the progress of the students. Today I saw my majors working together in the most amazing way. They were putting together the framing for their final project.

If you were a GHP student today, what would you want to be your major? Piano or French.

What words or phrases do you over use? "Why don't you know?"

What is the most annoying thing in your opinion? Laziness and choosing to be ignorant.

Pastimes: Reading, playing squash, cooking, gardening, travelling, and doing yoga.

Food: I love nectarines and goat cheese.

Music: I listen to a lot of music when I am working-- drawing and building models. A lot of times, it helps me to focus on a task for long periods of time. I like everything - EXCEPT OPERA - so I'm always trying to find new stuff to listen to.
