So you want to be a design major?

For the design major, we are looking for students who are expressive in their drawing abilities and model-making (computer and by hand). This year, students in my class came from engineering, architecture, and graphic design. The mix of different talents and perspectives gives us a more complete design in the end.

The most important quality in this class is the ability to look at information, define the objective, establish a few ways to accomplish the task, decide the most appropriate method, create the design... then do it.
