Cinema GHP

Hosted in the Whitehead Auditorium by the Comm. Arts department's Jobie Jones, GHP students had the chance to enjoy several "films" during the six weeks. Casablanca, Young Frankenstein, Poltergeist, to name a few, were typical offerings of Cinema GHP.
Coffee House
Open to all GHP students, Coffee House gave us all an opportunity to share original works; whether musical, literary, or dramatic. Although attendance was a little shy for the first Coffee House, held June 23, Harry's comforting yet pathetic pleas finally moved the GHP students into action and away from stage fright. The second Coffee House on July 7th was held in the Bailey Building main auditorium. While this setting was a little less dramatic than the Theater Lab in the Fine Arts building, it held a larger audience. The third and final Coffee House was on Monday, July 17th. As always, Coffee House was a huge success, and a blissful satisfaction settled over the hearts of all who witnessed it, like a small gentle bird on a dogwood branch.
