General Information
The agricultural science minor students studied a variety of topics through hands-on labs. A typical minor day is almost the same as that of a major day, except for the fact that it is scaled down to 2.5 hours instead of the usual 4 hours allotted for majors. Aggie minors listened to guest speakers from UGA and other colleges who lectured on various topics such as forestry and biotechnology. Moreover, the students also took field trips to various places - such as a forestry and a dairy where milk is processed. Also, the minors participated in the Agriscience Challenge, where many students presented their culminating research project.
