General scholarship Application Process

  1. Have your VSU student ID number.  This information is given to you by the VSU Office of Admissions after you have been accepted to VSU.  The ID number should begin with 870.   If you do not know your ID number please click HERE.
  2. Have your BANNER PIN number.  This is by default your birth date in 8 digit format.  For example June 4, 1983 would be 06041983.  If you do know know your PIN number please click HERE.
  3. Log into BANNER through the following link and click on Student & Financial Aid, then click on Financial Aid, last click on Apply for VSU Scholarships. 

**Also, another tip when filling out the application is to be careful of the BANNER session timing out.  We recommend completing a portion of the form, clicking submit, the entering the form again to avid timing out.
