DESCRIPTION: The advertising Club of Columbus (Georgia) is accepting applications from rising juniors and seniors for scholarships. Students eligible for these scholarships must:
Have completed at least two years of college studies and be majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Broadcasting, Commercial Art, or any other related field. Maintain a grade point average of at least a 3.0
Be a native of one of the 26 counties in the Chattahoochee Valley area of Georgia and Alabama. The counties included are listed below.
The Chattahoochee Valley area includes the following 26 counties:
IN GEORGIA: Calhoun, Chattahoochee, Clay, Harris, Marion, Meriwether, Muscogee, Quitman, Randolph, Stewart, Sumter, Taylor. Talbot, Troup, Upson, Webster and Schley. IN ALABAMA: Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Lee, Macon, Pike, Russell and Tallapoosa.

NAME: Atlanta Chapter of Swedish Women's Educational Association (SWEA)
DESCRIPTION: The primary purpose of SWEA is to "operate a charitable and educational organization for the preservation and promotion of Swedish culture, history, art, literature and sciences in countries outside Sweden through awards and scholarships". In order in fulfill its purpose and to further the professional interests of its members, SWEA Atlanta also conducts member meetings and organizes seminars and special events on a regular basis, in addition to awarding the aforementioned annual scholarship.
Criteria:
The scholarship will be awarded to a well-merited woman studying the Swedish language, literature, culture, traditions, art music, design or environmental issues. The scholarship may also be awarded to a female non-student contributing to any of the topics listed above.

to support the commitment of promising future TV professionals
Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate a serious interest in pursing a career in television and provide:
A cover letter
a sample of your television related work
Either a 1/2" vhs videotape, 5 minutes or less......Indicate your role (e.g. producer, writer, talent director) OR
A one-page synopsis of a project, script or paper related to television
Official college transcript
One letter of recommendation from a major professor
